Before you decide what to have for lunch, check out this absolute corker about pork.
Directed by Kate McMullen for BBH and Tesco, it's a colourful, feel-good spot about a group of women who go swimming in the sea and then race home for a cracking lunch.
The spot opens in Sue's kitchen where the gang of 60-somethings are cooking up a storm. On the menu, a crispy pork crackling chilli noodle caboodle - and the girls can't wait.
Leaving the pork to cool, they head out across the beach for a quick dip. Their excitement turns to shock as they take the plunge in the icy English sea. Some scream, some splosh about, some man up for a spot of breaststroke. After a moment braving the waves, it's time to get down to serious business. "Right", says Sue. "Lunch!"
Back in the garden, the gang dive into the food that brought them together in the first place. Even the Great British sunshine shows up for the party.
Set in a beach-side bungalow on the Sussex coast, the spot stars a group of real wild swimmers from Leigh-on-Sea. Hardy types who swim all year round, whatever the weather. Their humour shines through - from the goggles one wears to chop her chillies, to the handstand another does in the sea.
Shot by expert foodie DP Martin Hill, with Crackling & Co styled by the masterful Katie Giovanni, it's a feast to behold. Tummies rumbling? Told you.
