Bold director Romain Chassaing teams up once more with TBWA Paris and CDs Benjamin Marchal and Faustin Claverie to direct this sprawling new campaign for Schweppes.
The film moves the brand away from the G&T set to re-position it as a standalone non-alcoholic drink for anytime. (Schweppes was the the world’s original soft drink way back in 1783) using the tag line ‘I LIKE IT LIKE THAT’, from the song of the same name by Pete Rodriguez.
Romain Chassaing takes us on a whistle-stop tour, visiting an Italian Mafioso’s favourite restaurant, a chess tournament where a Queen's Gambit-esque roller skating chess prodigy is thrashing all before her and then into the cosmos before touching back down in a Michelin-starred kitchen.
Romain does us all a favour by demonstrating the dangers of opening your helmet in space to take a drink, which doesn’t end well for the astronaut in question.
Bringing his trademark gallic humour and cinematic flair to the project beautifully tying the many pieces of the jigsaw together with each scene full of detail and great performances.
