JWT Singapore has hired Libby Schaub, an award-winning strategic planner with a strong digital background, as Planning Director.
Schaub, who will work on a broad range of JWT Singapore accounts, served most recently as senior strategist for Singapore Airlines at TBWA Singapore. Prior to that role, Schaub worked at JWT New York for three years, helping develop strategy for Microsoft and Kimberly Clark’s Huggies brand. She has also worked at SS+K New York, Headmint New York, and the United States Senate.
Schaub recently launched Singapore Airlines’ siajourneys.com and the Centre for Enabled Living’s “Talk Ability” campaign. During her time on Microsoft, she helped design a “Geek Network”, a peer-driven online content publishing model for Microsoft’s B2B technology solutions as well as an online influencer campaign for Microsoft Office2010. For Pull-Ups, she created a community driven potty-training platform with webisodes, blogs and tips. Schaub helped win JWT a Titanium Bronze at Cannes, for Microsoft, and Gold and Silver Effies medals in 2010 and 2011, on Huggies campaigns.
"We changed our hiring principles and made strong digital track record a mandatory for all new hires. Libby, with her strong creative digital background and her rock-solid brand experience, is exactly the talent the new JWT Singapore is looking for,” said Frank Bauer, CEO of JWT Singapore.
