In March of this year HSBC concluded its global review process – the result is the award of its estimated £20million business to JWT London.
In October last year the banking giant’s European retail banking account was shifted to Grey, its sponsorship activity to Saatchi & Saatchi, while JWT maintained the global brand business. The UK retail account has now been awarded back to JWT London, although the reason for the change is unclear.
Grey are set to continue handling the retail advertising business outside of the UK.
