Pennzoil and Quaker State announced today that they have named JWT Atlanta agency of record. Effective immediately, JWT will be leading brand strategy and creative development for both the Pennzoil and Quaker State brands in North America.

JWT Atlanta will be leading brand planning, brand strategy, social strategy and execution, creative development and production for both clients. New campaigns for both brands are slated for 2013.

The appointment expands the relationship between Royal Dutch Shell PLC, Pennzoil’s parent company, and JWT. The global Shell business, which includes Shell corporate advertising and Shell fuels and lubricants, is handled by JWT London, with JWT Houston handling Shell fuels and lubricants in North America. JWT Atlanta is also the agency of record for Jiffy Lube.
