James Fry Joins Double W Worldwide as Art Director

Double W Worldwide announces that ex Channel 4 picture editor and music photographer, James Fry will join as art director and will help the collectives’ clients on what visual imagery will perfectly articulate core messaging, while maximising creative impact across campaigns. 

Fry’s illustrious career spans 35 years of creative work and has delivered hundreds of standout concepts and memorable campaigns in the music, TV, film, and art worlds. In his role as picture editor at publisher-broadcaster Channel 4, Fry worked on a vast array of successful marketing campaigns in drama / current affairs and documentaries, including the likes of; Gogglebox, Sean Meadows’, The Virtues, First Dates, and the Dispatches series. As a music photographer he is renowned for many key arts in the British music industry, and more recently has worked on the archive production team for the critically acclaimed music documentary, Squaring the Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis) – always bold, sometimes gritty, and often playful; Fry understands exactly what works visually and can maximise an image as any form of a communications central notion.  

Fry’s role will not only be client serving, but he will also look to take Double W Worldwide’s into less traditional campaign focused work as the collective looks to put its antenna out and launch projects in the art and music world.
