Black Dog Films director James Copeman brings the fire and flash with a raucous romp for Foxes’ single “Youth.”
The UK director stages the wide-eyed songstress in a black-and-white work environment before the intro gives way to a vivid montage celebrating the insouciance of youth. Capturing the only-live-once spirit of the lyrics, “Don't tell me our youth is running out / It's only just begun", Copeman shows us glimpses of Foxes and her crew engaging in a variety of rebellious activity. Colorful images of bonfire parties, silly costumes, and a pair of disarmingly sexy Mickey Mouse ears bring to life the fanciful message behind Foxes’ soaring electro-anthem.
