Internet Explorer UK has launched a campaign starring a new character, Eddie – an oddball inventor who has emerged from obscurity with a bunch of kooky inventions to help non-Internet Explorer (IE) users enjoy a better browsing experience.
Eddie’s creations are being released on social media to get fans and non-fans of IE talking about the browser.
The campaign consists of two mockumentary-styled web films, responsive videos, Instagram photos and IE UK Facebook updates from Eddie himself on the entirely re-skinned Internet Explorer UK Facebook page.
In the first film, Eddie unveils the Finger Activated Ring Touch Device (FARTD) which demonstrates Internet Explorer’s “perfect for touch” proposition to non-Internet Explorer users.
Eddie (and his inventions) were created by Jam.
