Jakub Mączka to Lead the Motion Capture Studio at Platige Image

Effective January 2025, Jakub Mączka has officially joined Platige Image, assuming the role of head of motion capture studio. This appointment marks a strategic milestone in the studio’s ongoing pursuit of technological excellence and project diversification.

Jakub Mączka brings over a decade of managerial experience in the film and advertising industries, with a specialised focus on virtual production in recent years. Prior to joining Platige Image, he served as managing director at eNStudios in Poznań, where he worked extensively with Motion Capture technology. His professional background also includes roles such as head of production at ATM Virtual and TableTop Producer at Bites.

The Platige Image Motion Capture Studio distinguishes itself through its advanced infrastructure and comprehensive service portfolio:

• A space designed for challenges: The studio spans an area of 20m x 13m with a height of 8m, accommodating simultaneous performance capture sessions involving several actors (body performance) or up to four actors in full performance capture mode (body, face, and fingers).
• Comprehensive technical support: In addition to the expansive capture area, the studio is equipped with non-linear editing and previsualization workstations, enabling real-time workflows during motion capture sessions.
• Location: The Motion Capture Studio is situated in Warsaw.
