Platige Image, the award-winning animation and VFX powerhouse, known for high-end CG work on titles like The Witcher, Another Day of Life and Love, Death & Robots, announces the launch of Platige Film Project—a newly formed production studio within the Platige Group, dedicated to producing and developing feature films and scripted series.
While development capabilities remain distributed across the Group, Platige Film Project consolidates production efforts under one roof and expands Platige’s footprint into the scripted space, focusing on ambitious, narrative-driven storytelling for both local and international audiences. The studio is set to deliver content for streaming platforms and traditional broadcasters, and actively seeks creative collaborations and business partnerships to help shape the future of cinematic and episodic entertainment.
The studio is led by Dorota Szcześniak, formerly of Sony Pictures Television Networks and TVP S.A., who brings both executive leadership and hands-on production experience, having overseen more than 1,000 hours of scripted content. Her goal: to build bold, genre-rich international drama—epic in scale, intimate in emotion.
Jarosław Sawko and Piotr Sikora, co-founders of Platige Image, and Ewa Brzózka, DCEO of Platige Film Project, also play an active role in shaping the studio’s direction, ensuring a strategic vision within the Group.
“Launching Platige Film Project is a natural next step for us,” said Karol Żbikowski, CEO of Platige Image. “It complements our existing production capabilities and allows us to tell bold, cinematic stories from start to finish — bringing together world-class visuals with powerful narratives.”
