Isobar Asia Pacific announces today a new leadership structure in China to embrace integration, further enhance scale and capability, and support the future growth of Isobar China. This new structure not only integrates newly-joined companies within Isobar China, but prepares for further acquisitions in the pipeline, which will rapidly enhance the agency’s capabilities and geographic coverage.
Having acquired OMP, one of China’s largest independent digital agencies, Isobar China expanded its offering and footprint to five cities in China, and tripled staff numbers in 2012 alone. Enhanced by organic growth and digital acquisitions over the past year, Aegis Media became the largest digital media trading platform in China, as of 2013.
“As we continue to focus on Isobar China being the most innovative and influential agency in the marketplace, it’s essential that we put in place a leadership structure that complements and strengthens all our companies, to support strong organic growth and further acquisitions,” said Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar APAC. “An expanding Isobar China, of nearly 700 digital pioneers, needs a structure where clients can benefit from the full range of services we have on offer.”
Effective immediately, the following key people have been promoted within Isobar China:
Jane Lin-Baden will be appointed CEO of Isobar China. She moves from CRM Practice Leader for Isobar APAC and former COO of wwwins Greater China, and will report directly to Jean Lin. Supported by a strong China management team, Jane will work across all companies in the agency and be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap and delivering results.
“As one of China’s largest digital agencies, we have to work as an agile and cohesive team to ensure our clients are getting the best results. With this new structure in place, Isobar China will continue to leverage market knowledge and specialist skill-sets to better service our clients and drive innovation within the market,” said Jane.
Under Jane’s stewardship, two new roles have been identified in the major growth areas of Integrated Media and Social Practice, to service clients in China with strategic consistency and agile implementation.
Alvin Huang has been appointed Managing Partner-Integrated Media, Isobar China. In addition to his existing role as Managing Director at Isobar Beijing, Alvin will drive Isobar China’s media-led new business, and build consistent digital media disciplines across the companies.
Amanda Lai has been appointed Social Practice Leader of Isobar China. Currently Head of Strategy at wwwins Isobar Shanghai and working across the social teams, she will drive consistency of Isobar China’s social offering, putting it at the heart of all strategic development.
