Iris Names Harriet Shurville as First Chief People Officer

Iris has named Harriet Shurville as chief people officer for its 450-strong London HQ, in a newly created role for the agency. Harriet will sit on the London Board.

Joining from McCann Worldgroup, where she held the position of people director, Harriet’s new role will focus on creating a progressive and forward-thinking people strategy, through Iris’ ‘For the forward’ proposition, to ensure best in class talent attraction and retention.

Harriet currently sits on the advisory board for Exceptional Individuals, who provide recruitment and employment support for neuro-divergent individuals, as well as the IPA’s Creative Pioneers board. Prior to her role at McCann, Harriet worked in People functions for Selfridges, The FA and figleaves.com.

Harriet is known for vocalising her thoughts within the industry, she will be taking to the stage at HR Grapevine Live in March, focusing on empowering workplaces through employee experience.
