DENTSU CREATIVE US's creative development art director Lukas Reichert was recently named a Creative Champion for his entrepreneurial mindset, client presentation skills and critical thinking about the stories we share.
Q> How would you explain your job to a small child?
Lukas> I get to tell fun stories with mini movies and pretty pictures!
Q> How is your job uniquely creative?
Lukas> Every day I get to play with how people see the brands and products we advertise. I get to think of ways that no one has ever seen something and bring that to life.
Q> What is your biggest accomplishment to date?
Lukas> I don’t have a specific accomplishment, but over the last year I have really achieved a lot of goals I’ve had for myself for this stage of my career. Those goals were: feeling fulfilled in my job, taking on more responsibly and selling some awesome ideas.
Q> What advice would you give to your younger self?
Lukas> Don't be afraid to be wrong or to share your idea. Fear of ‘saying something wrong’ or having a bad idea will only keep the good ideas locked up and keep you from learning and growing as a creative.
Q> What is something that inspires you?
Lukas> I am incredibly influenced by music. I don't play any instruments and don't sing, but music is very important to me. It's always on around my house and has a way of setting my mood and kicking up the creativity.
Q> What was your dream job when you were younger?
Lukas> Architect - but then I found out about all the math involved.
Q> What TV show are you currently binging?
Lukas> Peaky Blinders is constantly on repeat.
Q> Bucket list item?
Lukas> Sky diving! I'm an adrenaline junkie for sure.
Q> What is your theme song?
Lukas> “We're an American Band” - Grand Funk Railroad
Q> One thing that makes you happy?
Lukas> Golfing early in the morning on a beautiful day. Nothing beats it.
