Iann Dior Partners with Volta to Bring Mind-Bending Visuals and Cutting Edge Technology to Lollapalooza

Free, self-service XR creation platform Volta took mind-bending visuals using cutting edge technology to a new level when asked to partner with American Rapper Iann Dior just one week before his main stage performance at one of Europe’s largest festivals Lollapalooza Berlin. 

With over 100,000 attendees and a global audience via Deutsche Telekom’s MagentaMusik live stream, Lollapalooza Berlin is one of the largest music festivals in Europe, making it the perfect platform for Iann Dior to unveil this all new immersive audio-visual experience at Berlin's Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park. 

The American rapper, singer, and songwriter is best known for his 2020 hit single "Mood" which has amassed over 1.5 billion Spotify streams alone, having established an ever growing global fan base, with over 2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok and over 3 billion total streams and counting. Those in attendance at Lollapalooza got an all-new experience however, as he served up a mix of his classic cuts and latest hip hop gems with stunningly original and creative visuals.

The visuals were only possible as Dior partnered with the incredible XR platform Volta, who were tasked with creating the live performance visuals for the show in just under a week, with one person driving the activation. By now recognised around the world, having worked with the likes of Glastonbury, Brooklyn Mirage and Amnesia Ibiza, as well as artists like Deadmau5, Bonobo and Jamie Jones, the free, self-service XR creation platform Volta allows artists to create world-class visuals which elevate any live show on any stage or live stream no matter their budget or skill level. 

Epic visuals from major league International festivals are now no longer the preserve of top tier DJs - anyone can access them and use them on their own artist channels whether live or streamed on Twitch, YouTube, Mixcloud or TikTok. Not only are artists able to create live performances, but Volta Create is a great tool to produce high quality music videos just like Imogen Heap did for her single ‘Last night Of An Empire’. The latest version of the software includes many new 3D elements as well as exciting features and has proven to increase fan engagement both in person and online when it comes to live music.
