Leading alternative broadband provider Hyperoptic announces the launch of its new rebrand and accompanying campaign set to challenge head on the mediocre customer experience offered by the big broadband players.
The In Your Corner campaign aims to jolt awake sleepwalking broadband users, showing them there’s a better alternative to poor broadband and dreadful customer service by setting a new standard for the industry.
On the back of research conducted by the brand showing that over 38% of people believe that broadband providers offer the worst customer service of any industry in the UK, the campaign seeks to address the apathy that customers currently feel towards the sector by demonstrating how broadband should be done.
Kicking off today with a new ad campaign by TBWA running across addressable TV, as well as activations across out of home and digital, the rebrand also sees the introduction of a distinctive new Hyperoptic character who will personify the brand’s place in their customers’ homes – the router.
The rebrand signifies a new era of disruption for the brand, who previously transformed the sector back in 2011 when it launched the first ever gigabit network offering.
Lutfu Kitapci, chief customer officer, Hyperoptic says, “In your corner. That’s how we want our customers to feel about us: Hyperoptic cares about me. Hyperoptic has got my back. I can rely on Hyperoptic. Our new brand campaign shines a light on Hyperoptic’s commitment to our customers. We want customers to know that we’re serious about showing there’s a better way to do broadband.”
Hyperoptic is showcasing its extended commitment to customers by offering 24/7 access to the customer service team, 365 days a year, allowing people to leave with no charges if they don’t love their service within 30 days and simplifying the switching journey with a dedicated Hypercare rep to manage their switch. The brand is also committed to promising a competitor price match guarantee for new joiners, and ensuring existing customers always get access to the same prices as new customers on renewal. This offering has helped Hyperoptic secure more five-star Trustpilot reviews than Virgin, BT and Sky combined.
