Havas Worldwide Chicago today announced that Chris Gyorgy has been named Group Creative Director. In partnership with Kevin Kelly, Gyorgy will be responsible for leading creative on the agency’s Citi account, including credit cards, retail and above the line work, in addition to supporting new business pitches and pro bono initiatives.
A seasoned creative leader, Gyorgy brings more than two decades of blue-chip branding experience to the role
of group creative director. He honed his craft at a number of the top advertising agencies in the country, including The Richards Group in Dallas, DDB, The Martin Agency, Goodby Silverstein, San Francisco, Young & Rubicam,
and FCB Chicago. Between full-time agency stints, he freelanced at Saatchi & Saatchi, David and Goliath, EnergyBBDO, Leo Burnett, Team Detroit, RPA, Chiat Day, Boone Oakley and McGarry Bowen.

Gyorgy has garnered industry recognition, including seven One Show Pencils and multiple Communication Arts
awards, for his work on such brands as HP, Sony, Mizuno, FootAction, Kraft, SCJ, Ford, Toyota, Land Rover,
Maserati, AT&T, Sprint, KFC, McDonald’s, Tabasco, The Virginia Holocaust Museum, Adobe, Pepsi, Motel 6,
Kellogg’s, Wrigley, Budweiser, Ping and Canadian Mist.
