Havas New York announced today the appointment of Diana Vienne to the position of Chief Talent Officer.
In her new role with Havas, Vienne will partner closely with Laura Maness, President of Havas New York, and the leadership team to drive the agency’s culture while shaping the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management functions of the agency’s flagship Village office in New York.
“We are thrilled to have Diana join the Havas family. Diana is an incredibly talented leader who not only brings a wealth of strategic consulting and agency experience, but truly understands what it takes to win the war on talent in today’s extremely competitive and rapidly changing marketplace,” said Laura Maness, President at Havas New York. “She brings an entrepreneurial mindset and infectious energy that will enable us to innovate and implement new talent initiatives across the New York Group.”
“The agency landscape is changing every day,” said Vienne. “I am excited about what the future holds at Havas and am eager to be part of the leadership team that will bring the Village vision and values to life. Each employee needs to understand their individual role in making the vision a reality at Havas and how they will be supported in that effort. Shaping the experiences, capability building and career pathing of our employees is essential to create the agency of the future, and that is what I want to help accomplish.”
With a deep background in talent management and strategic consulting, Vienne joins Havas from MMC (Marina Maher Communications), an Omnicom agency, where she partnered with leadership to shepherd the company through a digital transformation and organisational change management that affected all aspects of their business.
Prior to joining MMC, Vienne spent more than 17 years as a global business consultant, working with top-tier consulting firms, such as Deloitte Consulting, PwC and Ketchum Change to deliver strategic change and talent management programs. Her key clients included PepsiCo, United Technologies, Exxon/Mobil, Nielsen, Scholastic, Prudential Financial, IBM, HarperCollins Publishers, and more.
Vienne holds an MA degree from New York University in Business Education and Organisational Effectiveness, and a Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Michigan Business School. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and is an active participant in the global and local community, involved in nonprofit projects and activities for organisations such as Cross-Cultural Solutions, Common Ground Foundation and The New York Foundling.
