Havas Media Group has been named the primary media partner for LG Electronics following an open, competitive review. Managed under its Arena brand, the group will oversee LG Electronics’ media business in over 60 countries. The announcement follows the unveiling of LG’s new corporate identity last week.
LG, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, ranks among the top three companies across numerous sectors such as flat-panel TVs, mobile devices, washing machines and air conditioners. With 87,000 employees working in over 100 locations around the world, LG ended 2012 with sales of USD 45.22 billion.

Arena will continue to be managed by Havas Media Group’s Executive Committee, led by Alfonso Rodés, Havas Media Group’s CEO and its Global Managing Director, Dominique Delport.

This announcement follows on from the latest phase of Havas’s integration strategy as it moves to create the most simplified and agile media group in the industry.
