Guns, Drugs & Butterflies Mark Dexter Navy's Latest A$AP Rocky Promo

Dexter Navy’s extraordinary award-winning film L$D for A$AP Rocky was always going to be a tough act to follow. However, the sheer scale and ambition of this new ‘story within a music video’ is sure to be just as well received.

After visiting a friend’s house and being inspired by bags of butterfly wings, Dexter jumped on the phone to Rocky and convinced him that the drugs in the videos for ‘Money Man’ and ‘Put That On My Set’ ft. Skepta had to be butterflies.

The film was shot on black & white 16mm and 8mm with post and visual effects done by Absolute Post. As well as A$AP Rocky, the stellar cast of actors includes actor and screenwriter Saïd Taghmaoui (La Haine, Three Kings), A$AP Nast, Skepta and Sicilian Tina Kunakey.
