A new AR-powered Easter experience from Grey Canada invites families into the magical world of Lindt’s GOLD BUNNY

This Easter, Grey Canada and Lindt are giving the iconic GOLD BUNNY a digital glow-up. GOLD BUNNY Hide and Seek is a charming, mixed-reality game that invites families into the magical world of GOLD BUNNY - blending tradition with tech in a way that feels fresh, fun, and unexpectedly heart warming.

The Lindt GOLD BUNNY Hide and Seek game is a mobile, web-based, mixed-reality experience that combines augmented and virtual reality technologies. It’s a rooted 360º world - letting users turn in every direction from a single, central spot - as they explore the bunny’s whimsical home, search for hidden bunnies, and unlock sweet rewards like a coupon for Lindt chocolate.

“We wanted to reimagine how families interact with GOLD BUNNY,” said Fernando Hernandez, executive creative director at Grey Canada. “Instead of just unwrapping it, they can now step into its world.”

Grey partnered with Bandara VR GmbH - the creators of Teddy AR and Switzerland’s leading AR/VR agency - for the game’s creation and development. Their expertise brought depth and magic to the experience, creating a playful, immersive moment that feels just right for the season. Burson handled media and influencer outreach, with support across digital, retail, paid media, and PR.

More than just a seasonal push, GOLD BUNNY Hide and Seek is a story-driven experience that puts joy at the centre - and positions Lindt as more than just a premium chocolate brand, but a creator of modern family rituals.
