GREATERGOOD, a director-driven production company, has announced its launch in Los Angeles, bringing some of the industry’s most creative professionals under one roof.
Founded by Pedro Aragão de Oliveira, who began his career as a teenager in Rio de Janeiro and has spent nearly his entire professional life in Los Angeles, GREATERGOOD builds on Pedro’s extensive experience with leading film and advertising companies. His career spans work with now-extinct legendary enterprises such as Coppos Films, Tony Kaye Films, HSI, Crossroad Films, Chased by Cowboys, and Ritts Hayden, as well as thriving companies such as Prettybird, Smuggler, Park Pictures, Superprime, and most recently, as a partner at the award-winning JOJX.
“At GREATERGOOD, we are driven by a passion for innovative storytelling that captivates audiences,” said founder Pedro Aragão de Oliveira. “With our team of directors, we’re ready to push boundaries and explore fresh creative directions.”
The company is represented on the East Coast by Golden Owl, led by Katie Goldstein and Katrin Aul, and on the West Coast by Dimitri + Co, headed by Michael Dimitri, ensuring its reach spans the U.S. and beyond.
GREATERGOOD’s mission is to redefine filmmaking by embracing creative risks and elevating the craft of storytelling. “We’re committed to producing work that not only stands out but also resonates deeply,” added Pedro. “For us, it’s about more than the final product—it’s about the relationships we build, the processes we refine, and the impact we create on and off the screen.”
The company provides the tools and resources for directors to fully realize their creative visions while fostering an environment of collaboration and inclusion. By blending commercial appeal with artistic innovation, GREATERGOOD strives to leave a lasting impact on the entertainment landscape, both on and off the screen.
