Greater Anglia and Stansted Express have today announced the appointment of independent agency Atomic London as their integrated creative agency. The incumbent agency retained the business following a three-way competitive pitch.
Atomic will now continue its partnership with Greater Anglia, building on the transformational brand journey of the last five years to create real and lasting behaviour change amongst key audiences, improve value-for-money perceptions, and break down barriers to more frequent travel, whilst driving growth in digital ticketing and increasing journeys.
The agency will also work to evolve the Greater Anglia brand character, the hare, and develop a new brand platform and communications to deliver greater emotional impact, build brand awareness, and improve consideration and net promoter scores. It will also create more campaigns featuring the Stansted Express brand character ‘Stan’, which launched in 2023.
Initial campaign activity will roll out in Q4 2024.
David Metherell, head of commercial development, Greater Anglia, said, “Continuing on from a highly effective five years of working together in partnership, the entire Greater Anglia team is very excited about the future opportunities that Atomic London will bring for both the Greater Anglia and Stansted Express brands. Our ongoing collaboration promises to deliver exceptional results and growth.”
Louise Rudaizky, managing director, Atomic London, added, “We're absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to continue our work with Greater Anglia and Stansted Express. It's a testament to the transformational journey we’ve been on together and the strong partnership we've built. We're excited about the future and looking forward to being part of the further evolution of the Greater Anglia brand.”
A one-of-a-kind creative independent, Atomic has been in operation since 2012 and is pioneering a new approach to inter-agency collaboration within its growing portfolio of specialisms.
