Great Guns has added the London born, award-winning director Jenny Ash to its roster. Jenny directs dramas, documentaries and comedies.
Recently she's shot spots for brands including Magic, BT Vision and Heart FM. She caught Laura Gregory's eye with her latest campaign for the P&G brand 'Always and Unesco', which was shot on location in Senegal.
Jenny learnt the local language, Wolof, and spent ten days in a remote village in Senegal working with young girls to help them deliver the script in French. None of them were natural French speakers.
Gregory said, "Nothing phases Jenny, she'll do whatever it takes to come back with the film. Her study on Dolly Parton is electric and natural. Dolly is an icon and Jenny captured that perfectly".
Last year she was nominated for an International Emmy and NAACP Drama award for the film she wrote and directed about slavery and the journey to civil war for the landmark series America the Story of Us - introduced by Barack Obama. She's just completed a follow-up series -The British - for Sky Atlantic, due to air Autumn 2012.
Jenny has dual UK/USA nationality and speaks fluent French, German and Spanish.
