Goodby, Silverstein & Partners Taps Zoic Studios for Yahoo! Search Campaign with Tron: Legacy
Yahoo! has entered Tron’s Game Grid with Disney, partnering with the top Hollywood studio on an ad which demonstrates the light-cycle speed of Yahoo!’s enhanced shortcuts for movie-related searches. The interactive spot, created by agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in collaboration with Zoic Studios, features the distinct look and feel of Tron – including a "Tron-ized" version of the Yahoo logo – to appear in pre-roll and rich media banners on the Yahoo! Network and off-network sites like CNN, Hulu, Wired, and YouTube.

Prompted by searches on the Yahoo! Homepage, a page comes to life and then pulls back to reveal the page on one side of a Cube. The cube constantly spins to reveal all the different forms of related content available at users’ fingertips - videos, pictures, articles, etc -- on different sides. Zoic built custom environments for the cube based on the content being featured.
