Good Works, the philanthropic initiative launched by leading global artist agency and production company Laird and Good Company, introduces its third charitable print sale benefiting Women’s Earth Alliance. The collection - made possible by 23 female photographers and employees - was curated in honour of International Women’s Day and will debut online on March 6th, 2025 and in-person on March 13th, 2025.

Launched in November 2023, Good Works connects Laird and Good Company’s roster of imagemakers with initiatives dedicated to creating a positive impact on the world. “Our goal is to use creativity as a force for meaningful change,” shares Charles Laird, Good Works founder and managing director of Laird and Good Company, London. Laird adds, “We know our industry asks a lot of the planet, and we want to make an impact through our collective creative community. Through Good Works, we aim to bring visual work to life that serves a greater purpose and gives back to our environment. Now more than ever, we feel the responsibility to stand by our values and foster positive change by amplifying creative voices, all while making our best effort to conserve our planet.”

Good Works specifically fundraises for causes within the sectors of conservation, restoration, climate adaptation, and emergency relief. Each collection of photographic prints supports a different organisation within the 1% for the Planet network. 100% of profits donated.

This third Good Works collection has been assembled in honour of International Women's Day. The curation features 23 photographs and works on paper by female artists, as well as a few agency employees with creative practices. Each contributing artist represents the diverse range of talent championed by Laird and Good Company. Select artists include:

Jameela Elfaki — A London-based multidisciplinary artist who works across photography, filmmaking, creative direction, and sound. Her work explores identity, representation, and the visibility of women and non-binary people of colour. Drawing inspiration from her dual heritage, Jameela examines themes of the 'in-between' and the blending of cultures and beliefs. She was a recipient of a PPA 30 Under 30 New Talent Award in 2019 and participated in the Black Business Incubator at Somerset House in 2022.

Celeste Sloman — An American photographer and director born and raised in New York City, Sloman's work has been published in National Geographic, The New York Times, Time Magazine, New York Magazine, and L'Officiel. Her clients include Prada, HBO, Universal Pictures, L’Oréal, UNIQLO, and more.

Juanita Richards — A London-based photographer known for her raw and honest visual voice. Her work centers around self-expression, identity, and optimism. As a person of dual heritage, she places a strong focus on representation and cultural diversity.

Lucia Bell-Epstein — A photographer and director based in New York City and Paris, Bell-Epstein blends photography, motion, and illustration into layered and poetic imagery. Her fluency in the worlds of food, art, and culture translates into intimate photographic moments that capture people, relationships, and environments with understated ease.

Francesca Allen — A British photographer who uses her camera as a tool for intimacy. Exploring the nature of female friendships, her images reflect the deeply personal relationships we hold with those closest to us.

100% of profits from this collection will be donated to Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA), a 1% for the Planet environmental partner. Women are disproportionately affected by climate change, ecosystem degradation, toxic pollution, and natural disasters. In the communities most impacted, women also face compounded threats from poverty, racism, and gender-based violence.

To help address these challenges, WEA is a global organisation empowering women’s leadership on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Their work provides training, mentorship, funding, resources, and opportunities for networking and community growth.

With these resources in hand, WEA leaders not only scale their own environmental initiatives but also teach others to do the same. One woman becomes 10, becomes 100, becomes 1,000 - and more. Good Works is proud to support and amplify WEA’s vital mission.

Good Works Collection III was launched in-person on March 13th at Laird and Good Company’s New York City loft. Celebrating women, impact, and creativity, guests were able to see the collection on display as well as connect with key members of WEA, 1% for the Planet, and Good Works. The event's aim was to further foster meaningful dialogue and connection, reinforcing Good Works’ mission to use creativity as a force for meaningful change.

Charles Laird, founder of Good Works and managing director of Laird and Good Company UK, spoke on the initiative’s continued evolution along with key partners, Jaclyn McCarthy, director of marketing at 1% for the Planet; Emily Que, environmental partner coordinator at 1% for the Planet; Dr. Annesha Chowdhury, lead conservation scientist and senior program manager at WEA; and Monica Ibacache, founder and executive director of Beyond Organic Design INC - each contributing valuable insight to the evening’s discussions on art, sustainability, and collective impact.

Collection 3 launched in limited-edition sizes and is available internationally. All prints are 100% carbon neutral from production to delivery. Customer packaging is made from sustainably sourced, recyclable, and/or biodegradable materials, while all framing options are FSC-certified.
