Publicis Conseil has unveiled its latest campaign for Orange, one of the leading mobile network providers. Titled ‘See Life On The Bigger Side’, the campaign highlights Orange's innovative buy-back initiative, Orange Recovery, offering customers access to the best of Apple at a better price while contributing to a sustainable future.
Directed by Les Réalités through Big Productions, the campaign showcases the extraordinary capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, focusing on its most coveted feature: optical zoom lenses. The humorous spot captures the attention of Parisians as they navigate the bustling streets, oblivious to the comically oversized objects accompanying them.
Director duo Les Réalités embraced the concept of 'Bigger Than Life' by bringing the giant objects to life - a giant cap strolling through the square, a young man whizzing down the street on oversized roller skates, a donut the size of a bus shelter, and a giant pacifier that has fallen to the ground. The narrative unfolds with a young girl in an Orange store playfully zooming in on these colossal objects with the iPhone 15 Pro Max's 5x telephoto lens, immersing viewers in a world where life is experienced in a truly big way.
The directors took production to the next level by creating real oversized props, capturing the actors’ genuine reactions to them to enhance the campaign’s comedy and authenticity. Additionally, Les Réalités' fluid and realistic camera movements contribute to the film's lively and modern feel, avoiding the need for unnecessary embellishments.
Benjamin Sanial and Raphael Halin, copywriter and art director at Publicis Conseil, comment, "The decision to work with Les Réalités was a natural fit for the project. We've wanted to work with Les Réalités for a long time because we love their modern approach and storytelling style. They were the ideal choice for this film, and what sealed the deal was their commitment to creating the oversized objects for real, adding authenticity and interaction on set.
A film called ‘Big’ couldn't be produced by anyone other than Big... It was all written in advance... You just can't fight it.”
