The co-founders of Voxy Media House sit down with LBB to discuss their latest and greatest work as well and explain why readers should keep an eye out for their upcoming projects as part of the Getting To Know series

Voxy Media House is a creative film production company and a storytelling powerhouse.

Founded by Ryan Connor and Joe Mitchinson, the team understands that great stories aren’t just seen; they’re felt.

Through collaboration with national and global brands, Voxy uses the art of storytelling to transform ideas into powerful visuals.

From script to screen, the team ensures that every frame has meaning.

Ryan and Joe’s shared vision is to turn every project into a story worth telling bold, engaging, and unforgettable.


LBB> Tell us a bit about Voxy Media House – when did you form and why?

Ryan> Voxy Media House was born in June 2020, during one of the most challenging times in recent history. When this shit hit the fan by covid-19, we saw an opportunity to turn adversity into action, Something which we have done all our lives. After years of talking about it, we finally took the leap to create a creative film production company with a clear mission: to craft meaningful, high-impact videos that tell stories and inspire action.

This wasn’t just about making content; it was about pushing ourselves toward bigger, bolder productions. Before launching Voxy, we spent five years self-shooting for brands, honing our craft, and learning what makes a brand truly stand out. But our story goes back even further. Since the age of eight, we’ve been filming together, starting with Joe’s dad’s old video camera and now working with some of the biggest brands in the world. By the time we launched Voxy, we already had the trust, chemistry, and skills to hit the ground running.

Our first year was a whirlwind. Within 12 months, we landed our first national TV campaign with Love Hemp and moved into our own studio. From there, it’s been one milestone after another. But none of it has come easy: it’s taken passion, persistence, and an obsession with making every project better than the last. And yes, we’ve made sure to enjoy the journey along the way.


LBB> What's the story behind your name?

Ryan> It’s just cool and easy to remember. Plus If you say it three times in a mirror, a film crew appears, As for “Media House”.. Google our business address WN1 1HH and you will see why we added that part.


LBB> Tell us about (up to) three campaigns that epitomise what you do as a company?

Ryan> ThruDark's ORYON Range Campaign - For ThruDark’s ORYON campaign, we developed a VERY cool concept set in an underground stronghold. This approach highlighted our storytelling capabilities and attention to cinematic detail.



Love Hemp's National TV Campaign - We collaborated with Love Hemp on a national TV campaign featuring Anthony Joshua. The project focused on educating viewers about CBD benefits, intertwined with Joshua's workout routine. This showcased our ability to work with high-profile figures and create content for a national broadcaster.



DAZN's Boxing Promotions - Our partnership with DAZN involved us shooting promotional content for major boxing events, including Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk and the iconic Eubank vs. Benn rivalry one of the longest-running feuds in boxing history. These promos were designed to build anticipation and hype, showcasing our ability to capture the energy and narrative of the sport through dynamic, story-driven content.



LBB> Give us a fun fact about your company.

Ryan> Childhood buddies with a joint passion for story telling.. Anyone who tells you never to do business with your mates ignore them.



LBB> What are your strongest opinions relating to your specific field?

Ryan> While AI can provide solutions, human creativity brings soul to productions. And we value the nuances of human connectivity above all else.


LBB> What are you proudest of as a company?

Ryan> Our creative approach and ability to see beyond ideas and how they can come to life in film.


LBB> What are some upcoming projects our readers need to keep an eye out for?

Ryan> We are currently exploring partnerships with creative agencies for bigger and more challenging projects. We recognise the value of reach and teamwork in expanding our capabilities.
