RocketMill, the UK’s largest employee-owned agency, has announced the appointment of head of media planning, George Gangar. In his new role, George will be responsible for developing RocketMill’s integrated planning approach and executing across key clients.
Previously, George was head of strategy and solutions at digital marketing agency, Impression, where he oversaw the creation of a combined strategy and data function, and Merkle where he worked in the digital strategy team. He has experience leading strategy and planning for clients such as Unilever, Legal & General, Diageo and Aviva.
George will work closely with chief strategy officer, Matt Andrews to shape the future of the agency's strategy and planning capability and Total Performance proposition, growing a market leading planning team and methodology.
RocketMill’s media team experienced 40% year-on-year growth in 2022 with clients spending across digital performance and traditional brand channels. George will work with the team to help integrate and connect across channels, dynamic creative and data to deliver value for clients as well as driving innovation through media.
