Frontdoor App Changes the Game of Home Repair and Maintenance

Frontdoor, Inc. just announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind app for home repair and maintenance while signifying an exciting evolution for the business as well. Enabled by proprietary Streem video technology, Frontdoor will now empower homeowners to tackle their home repair and maintenance tasks by connecting them with a pre-qualified expert via video chat who can help diagnose and solve problems in real time. Frontdoor will also offer homeowners a range of other benefits, including DIY tips, maintenance reminders, exclusive discounts on appliances and systems, and more. The Frontdoor app has membership plans for every homeowner, including a free plan with no commitment, and will be available for download through the Apple App Store and Google Play in mid-April.  

Campaign efforts kicked off with an initial TV spot, 'We Fixed This Toilet,' created by Fallon. 

Fallon is leading brand strategy and select creative duties for Frontdoor. Chemistry is leading app UX and design, website development, digital display creative, social media efforts, all paid media efforts, and PR duties for the brand. Chemistry was instrumental in securing notable paid media partnerships, including a national advertising campaign as the presenting sponsor of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Opening Week of the 2023 Regular Season.

The Frontdoor launch also marks the reunion of company, brand leaders and agency partners. Frontdoor CEO and Chairman Bill Cobb is joined by CMO, Kathy Collins. Both worked at H&R Block. Chemistry and Fallon previously worked with Bill and Kathy while they were at H&R Block.
