Independent creative agency, Five by Five, has acquired TSA, a fast-growing, London-based influencer, social media and content creation agency.
The strategic acquisition sees Five by Five further bolster its offering in this space, which is seeing strong growth and momentum in the UK. For TSA, which has brands such as Drink Me Chai, Laithwaites and Malibu on its books, it enables it to offer its clients greater integrated strategic and creative firepower.
The two agencies have been working in partnership for a number of years, collaborating on the recent Jack Daniel’s win for Five by Five, as well as brands such as Tequila Patron and Screwfix, the latter featuring campaigns starring footballing icons such as Jimmy Bullard, Ray Parlour and Neil Ruddock.
Harry Foyle, who founded TSA during lockdown, will continue to lead the influencer and social media offering, which will act as an integrated department within Five by Five, reporting into Annabel Mackie, managing director of Five by Five.
“When influencer and social media activity is executed well it can be extremely powerful for brands, and cost effective. We have seen this first hand for a number of our clients,” Annabel said.
And on the strategic acquisition, she said, “We are delighted to have TSA join the Five by Five family. To expand our offering in this growing area has always been the plan so we’re delighted to get this partnership kicked off and look forward to continuing to deliver great work for our clients.”
Harry Foyle, founder of TSA, said: “The influencer and social media space is so important for brands and with this new partnership we are now set up to help even more brands capitalise on this, helping them to achieve authentic and meaningful engagement with their audiences.”
This news comes off the back of a successful period for Five by Five having just won the UK social and digital account for Jack Daniel’s.
