Faire Launches Exclusive Pop-Up Space for Local Brands and Retailers

Online marketplace teams up with Amplify to transform a large retail unit into a vibrant shopping street

Faire, the international online marketplace which connects independent brands and retailers, will mark the one year anniversary of its European expansion with an exclusive pop-up showcasing local brands and retailers.

Called L’Atelier Faire, the experience can be found on Rue de Turenne in the heart of the Marais from 7–15th September 2022, coinciding with both Paris Design Week and the lifestyle trade show Maison&Objets.

The aim is to raise awareness of the Faire brand and its community of nearly 600,000 brands and retailers as it ramps up its European presence. The pop up brings to life its commitment to supporting local independent retailers while helping them discover exciting new merchandise.

For the experience, Amplify, the creative agency specialising in experience and culture, has transformed a large retail unit into a vibrant, modern shopping street. It is filled with stores which will feel completely familiar to local visitors while surprising and delighting them with a showcase of amazing products available via the Faire marketplace, including independent brands from France and across Europe which they might not have heard of until now.

Visitors can roam freely throughout the space, find their next bestsellers and meet other retail entrepreneurs. There is also a programme of events, including workshops, talks by retail experts and a speed dating night to help brands and retailers find new connections.

Within the space, Amplify has created four distinct shops for L’Atelier Faire, each with its own stylish design and linking to one of Faire’s merchandising categories. They are:

  • La Boutique for clothing, accessories and jewellery
  • La Parfumerie for beauty, perfume and home scenting
  • La Maison including homewares, furnishings and stationery
  • Le Café showcasing food and drink, as well as serving as a coffee shop and a space for meetings and presentations

This pop up is a celebration of our commitment to the future of French retail.

Faire started in 2017 in the US, with the vision of empowering small brands and retailers to form global connections. There are over two million independent retailers in North America and Europe alone doing more in revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined.
