Music and sound agency Pitch & Sync reveal the latest and hottest new artists, songs and albums that they’ve been listening to in their weekly instalment of Tracks of the Week.
We’ve all had a fun filled weekend, so we decided to start off the week listening to some more chilled out tracks. With some great tracks from LGBTQ+ artists such as Brockhampton and Christine and the Queens, we thought it would be a great way to relax whilst also reflecting on a brilliant Pride weekend.
Love the Things You Do by Pip Millet
A reflective and personal song about friendship, we thought that this release from up-and-coming British neo-soul singer, Pip Millett was the perfect way to start the week.
The first Sudanese release from Habibi Funk, this bluesy track from Kamal Keila has been described as a mix of James Brown and Fela Kuti. A brilliant record!
Doesn't Matter by Christine and the Queens
A brilliant track that is equally introspective and cool, Christine and the Queens yet again shows herself to be a trailblazer for infectious, sophisticated pop music.
A forward facing, dance-floor friendly, sax-laden new vibe from electronic boundary pushers, Yoko-Zuna. They never fail to deliver.
Produced by prolific Atlanta producer, Jazze Pha, this track showcases Brockhampton's versatility. A sign of their progression, this track has got us excited for their forthcoming album, 'The Best Years of our Lives'.
