Everyone Can Use a Little Help in Volkswagen's Spot from Tim Godsall

Volkswagen has launched its new ad entitled 'A Little Assist', created by Johannes Leonardo directed by Tim Godsall. 

It’s no secret that independence and perfection is glorified in our society. We often pride ourselves on accomplishing achievements or goals by our own merits. Volkswagen is inviting you to remember that in order to live a bigger life it’s okay to admit that you aren’t perfect, and that we all make mistakes. 

The 30-second film reminds us that even when we think we have everything under control - barely - life happens, and we all need a little help sometimes. This spot highlights the Front Assist safety feature in a unique and relatable way ensuring you that Volkwagen has your back when you need it the most. 

“This simple human truth is the insight behind Volkswagen’s latest safety spot, 'A Little Assist', the story of a man who confidently turns down help at every turn, until the moment he finally realizes he needs it–when a pedestrian errantly walks out into the street and the only thing that helps him avoid an accident is a little help from his VW Tiguan’s Front Assist,” says group creative director at Johannes Leonardo, Jonathan Santana.

'A Little Assist' will make its broadcast regionally in the US. The work will also run across social and digital.
