Everyday People Press Pause on Gambling Options for Betting and Gaming Council Spot

Dark Energy launches its new gamble aware campaign for BGC called ‘ALL PAUSE’ from director Matt Huntley. The film was shot over two days in south London in September.

The concept features a number of people in everyday situations taking time to consider their options when gambling/gaming. The script required the actors to be physically paused in reality which was a fun challenge to take on. Matt worked with UNIT, who brilliantly handled all aspects of post, and settled on a combination of physical props, Flame work… and actors just standing very, very still. 

The gaming industry is always a delicate client in terms of tone so casting was really crucial. The team used characterful actors that could deliver a light hearted performance whilst being able to deal with the physical demands.
