Award-winning creative studio Even/Odd has announced the addition of Alli Maxwell as senior executive producer. Known for her unwavering consistency in taste, values, and creative vision, Alli will bring a rare gift for producing world-class creative work that maintains its artistic integrity while helping cultivate emerging talent.
For more than a decade, Alli’s name has been synonymous with some of the most compelling and artistically-driven projects across the industry. Her multi-disciplinary approach has earned her an enviable portfolio of eclectic projects ranging from music videos and commercials to feature films, branded content and live performance.
Over her career, she’s collaborated with some of the world’s most recognisable brands including Amazon, Samsung, Beats By Dre, L’Oréal, Netflix, as well as incredible artists such as The Weeknd, Chaka Khan, Kendrick Lamar, Madonna, Dua Lipa and many more. She is also a co-founder of Change The Lens, a non-profit advocating for representation of Black filmmakers within the commercial and music video film industry – an organisation where she first became acquainted with Even/Odd co-founder and director Mohammad Gorjestani.
“I’ve always had a deep respect for Mohammad as an uncompromising artist and advocate for other storytellers,” explained Alli. “As I learned more about Even/Odd, it became clear to me that it's a safe haven for diverse creatives and storytellers to fully focus on their own unique voices instead of trying to conform and mimic the idea of what a commercial director should be. Diversity and creative excellence are intrinsically linked, and Even/Odd has understood and valued that from day one. I’m excited to help evolve and expand their roster while amplifying the studio as a beacon for clients exploring alternatives to the status quo – either out of reluctant necessity or future-focused inspiration.”
Even/Odd’s Gorjestani sees a kindred spirit in Alli, adding, “Alli’s deep commitment to both the craft and the creators themselves makes her an invaluable addition to the Even/Odd family. As we step into our 10th anniversary of the studio, I know that Alli's leadership will be an integral part of what I envision as an incredibly bright future.”
