Equality California Calls on Voters to Fight for LGBTQ+ Equality

With the US presidential election already in full swing, Equality California, the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, and its Nevada-based affiliate Silver State Equality, have partnered with agency RPA to create a PSA featuring actor and activist Billy Porter that hopes to rally LGBTQ+ and pro-equality voters alike to get out and vote. 

For more than 20 years, Equality California has led the Golden State’s fight for LGBTQ+ civil rights and social justice.

 

Using bold animations that incorporate the colours of the rainbow flag, and dialogue powerfully delivered by Billy, they’ve created a message of diversity and unity that implores viewers to join the fight for equality at the ballot box.

 

In addition to broadcast and radio spots, the campaign picks up on social with GIFs and stickers that people can share to show their solidarity in the fight for equality.
