Editor Adam Spivey Cuts Robert Webb in Fantastically Funny Post Office Ad

Robert Webb once again stars as the manic and hilarious be-suited and bow-tied presenter, espousing the benefits of banking with the Post Office whilst simultaneously flying out of sofas and wearing cake stands for hats.

Written by Ali Dickinson and Jack Walker at FCB Inferno, we are quite literally pushed through this 30 second spot without stopping for a breath.

Webb’s intense performance lends a kinetic energy to the piece, with his Dachshund sidekick remaining just as charismatic as in the previous ‘Get Christmas Wrapped Up’ campaign.

Adam carefully stiches together the comedian’s wild-eyed act, balancing the mania of Webb’s delivery with a clear explanation of the perks of saving with Post Office Money.

“It’s a real pleasure to work on these spots,” says Spivey. “David has a natural talent for comedy and the sheer drive of Robert Webb’s performance means that the pace and energy just seem to fall into place.”
