Dr. Martens Launches New Content Series Platforming Emerging Talent

Bullion Productions teams up with Kingdom Collective on new campaign

Dr. Martens has launched a new content series, spotlighting the stories of three emerging artists making waves in the UK music scene, produced by Bullion Productions and led by culture communications agency Kingdom Collective.

In the series, captured by prominent filmmaker Joe Wilson, the brand pays tribute to its Icons range through intimate conversations with musicians Jyoty, Hak Baker and Lynks about their journeys within the music industry and the steps they've taken along the way.

Alongside the series, the campaign has been amplified through a media partnership with Vice platform Noisey, an experiential live gig headlined by one of the featured artists and a series of murals across London and Manchester spotlighting the talent in their Dr. Martens.

The project explores the creative process of three boundary pushing musicians - DJ and curator Jyoty, producer and performer Lynks, singer-songwriter Hak Baker - and is a celebration of the empowerment the artists feel when wearing a pair of Dr. Martens. The campaign spotlights the brand as a symbol of rebellious self-expression, demonstrating that those who wear Dr. Martens are the pioneers of its cultural legacy. The series features the three Dr. Martens Icons: the 1461, 1460 and The Jadon Boot.

Their journey of self expression has always been accompanied by a pair of Dr. Martens,” says Dr. Martens EMEA Culture and Marketing Manager, Amber Henry. “When we set about creating a campaign that celebrated our Icon silhouettes, it felt natural to use this as an opportunity to celebrate the relationships we have with some of the best artists on the scene right now, shine a light on a few of the myriad stories about why our product means so much to creatives, and spotlight the authentic legacy we have within music”.
