Today, Ross-Simons announces it has named Doner Media as its media agency of record.
Doner Media will lead media buying and planning across digital platforms and select offline placements for Ross-Simons. As the brand’s online service and catalogue business reaches millions of customers annually, Doner Media has been tasked with increasing the brand’s share of the competitive jewellery category while elevating its profile and introducing it to new audiences.
Over the past year, Doner Media has seen a 107% increase in revenue. The agency has achieved this growth by combining proprietary technology innovations via its holding company, Stagwell, with the high-touch level of service traditionally delivered by a boutique agency. Ross-Simons attributes its selection of Doner Media to both of these factors.
“The fine jewelry business has become a fast-moving, data-driven category where it’s more important than ever to target the right consumers at the most opportune moment,” said Jim Speltz, president and CEO, Luxury Brand Holdings. “And in Doner Media, we’ve found the ideal partner to help the Ross-Simons brand harness the power of data, automation and AI to drive growth, efficiency and brand affinity, which is critical in our category.”
“As an agency with deep retail roots, our expertise aligns well with Ross-Simons, a fine jewellery brand navigating a dynamic digital retail landscape,” said David DeMuth, CEO at Doner. “We’ve made deep investments in technology to be able to target more precisely and make media budgets perform like they’re 30% larger than they are, something clients like Ross-Simons appreciate.”
With the momentum Doner Media is riding, it doubled down on growth efforts by adding Publicis Groupe alumna LisaAnn Rocha to a newly created role of EVP, head of media growth and integration. In this role, Rocha will spearhead business development and foster organic growth for Doner Media, reporting to chief operating officer Craig Conrad.
Doner Media offers intimacy of service and sophistication of planning, buying and reporting for national and regional brands across the retail, QSR, financial services, B2B and CPG spaces. Built on a legacy of excellence, Doner’s former media practice was widely regarded as one of the industry’s premier in-house media teams, ultimately playing a foundational role in the creation of Stagwell’s Assembly Global following its full acquisition in 2015.
