Doe-Anderson announces the appointment of two new key senior hires from BBDO and Havas: Lauren O’Toole joins as vice president, group brand director; E Slody joins as vice president, group creative director.
Doe Anderson’s investment in top talent has been made to have dedicated leadership on the agency’s Maker’s Mark and Jim Beam business and expand its credentials to grow with other global brands.
The new appointments follow the Agency’s rapid growth and top hires last year including chief creative officer Leyla Touma Dailey and executive vice president, managing director Matt Woehrmann – who joined from holding company agencies within WPP and IPG.
Regarding the new appointments, Woehrmann, who leads the overall relationship with Beam Suntory brands, notes: “I’m thrilled that Lauren and E are here to continue the great work we’ve done to build these brands over time. As our clients set their sights on global growth, it’s critical we have talent with diverse perspectives who have built iconic brands with powerful, meaningful creative work. I can’t wait to see their impact as they partner to lead our talented team forward.”
O’Toole says she was inspired to join Doe by their fierce dedication to their people and the strong desire to make great work. She adds: “What a dream to both work on Maker’s Mark, such an iconic brand, and also make a difference at a smaller agency with such a talented team.”
Slody is excited about the agency’s culture and 107 year-old history as well.
“Doe has one of the longest client/agency relationships in the country with Maker’s Mark (50 years). I think that speaks loudly about the level of creative work this agency is capable of and how well they treat business and people with respect,” comments Slody.
