MMC and H&S, together with a specialty team from FleishmanHillard, have been named as public relations AOR for Discover Puerto Rico.
The integrated team, known as the Discover Collective, is a bespoke offering that fuses the consumer savvy and creative brand-building powerhouse of MMC with the talent-driven and culturally connected travel and tourism expertise of H&S, along with the world-class crisis and issues management capabilities of FleishmanHillard.
Marketing communications leaders from across the mainland and those born and raised in Puerto Rico were hand-selected to build upon the Destination Marketing Organisation’s (DMO) incredible industry leading performance; while expanding its creative and strategic marketing efforts to help elevate the DMO into a lifestyle brand. MMC will be the contracting agency.
“We are proud to be the new public relations AOR for Discover Puerto Rico, working with the DMO to dimensionalise the Boricua spirit for US travellers,” according to a joint statement from MMC CEO Olga Fleming and H&S CEO Elizabeth Harrison.

The account will be co-led by Abbey Scalia of MMC and Stefanie Samarripa of H&S, who will oversee Operations and Travel & Tourism, respectively. Rebecca Rausch of FleishmanHillard will lead the Crisis & Issues team.
