Director Taz Tron Delix Signs with KODE

Continuing their commitment to investing in original, and craft-hungry talent, KODE welcomes Taz Tron Deliz to their London-based production studio, for UK representation. Driven by building new worlds through motion, speed, texture and colour, Taz directs and manipulates his creations into hyperextensions of reality. “My work generally falls into a world of surrealism. When following the unknown, boundless possibilities of fantasy and imagination can appear, whilst still being rooted in some kind of truth.” he explains.

Taz looks for beauty in the rawness, the darkness, and the unexpected, whilst always following his innate human instincts when making creative choices. Naturally, this makes his style authentic to himself, even within the wild worlds he creates. His art of using mixed-media, post-production and in-camera techniques has elevated the tone and impact of his commercial campaigns to create a unique catalogue of work for Brewdog, Chivas, EA Sports, Doc Martens, Major League Baseball and more.

Taz’s stellar career in music videos has also landed him some of the most celebrated collaborations in the industry. Championing the rebellious and the righteous, Taz’s obsession with celebrating rich cultural backgrounds has seen his work for Stormzy, Joy Crookes and Oscar #Worldpeace earn multiple award nominations and wins. Most notably taking Gold at the Creative Circle Awards for Best Music Video for Positive Change.

“The UK flavour influences all of my work” says Taz. With empowering the viewer at the heart of his imagery, in 2020 against a backdrop of the BLM movement Taz released ‘Superheroes’ with Stormzy. The fully animated music video perfectly captured that pivotal moment in history and celebrated black excellence. “I always want to represent the diversity I see and live amongst, within my work. That’s the reality of London – it’s a diverse place.” he adds.
