Director Johnny Hardstaff Joins Quad

Quad is proud to welcome director, designer and modern storyteller Johnny Hardstaff to its roster. 

 

Born in the UK, Johnny started building his distinctive style while studying graphic design at St. Martins, and has gone on to create a cannon of work that’s received global attention. This includes a raft of contemporary design-based commercials such as Dark Room for Philips, experimental films such as Like Spinning Plates for Radiohead and History of Gaming, which is included in the National Film Archive, and more recently promo shorts for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus such as David, featuring Michael Fassbender.

 

Johnny's instinctual drive for experimentation, and strong commitment to post-contemporary storytelling results in filmmaking that is always powerful and unique.
