Things are getting seriously whimsical over at Seattle agency Digital Kitchen. They've just unveiled the latest new talent to join their ranks - but Stanley is no ordinary creative. In lieu of horn-rimmed specs, deck shoes and carefully sculpted facial hair, Stanley's style is more walnut finish and ivory keys.
@StanleyPiano, the world's first interactive player piano, made his debut this weekend, live and streaming from Seattle's
Capitol Hill Block Party. Stanley takes song requests via Twitter - but while his repertoire is impressive, he has a bit of a penchant for indie music. In order to join in the spirit of the Block Party festival, Stanley learned a song from every act playing.. Check out the
Meet Stanley video.
Fans simply tweeted their song requests to @StanleyPiano and requests were played live from the Block Party and streamed online.
Seattle creative agency, Digital Kitchen, brought Stanley to life to honour the independent maker spirit of the Capitol Hill neighbourhood and to provide a window into the talented musicians playing at the Block Party. To go behind the scenes to learn what makes Stanley tick, visit
