Global marketing and technology agency DEPT® is expanding its creative team with the addition of Eva Koffeman and Willemijn Besteman as copywriter and art director, respectively. Known for their unique blend of creativity and humour, the duo is poised to bring a fresh perspective to clients such as Bol, Johnnie Walker, Philips, or Lotus Biscoff.
Eva and Willemijn first met at Roorda Reclamebureau, a renowned Dutch advertising agency, and have been an unstoppable creative force ever since. Dubbed “De Mannen” due to their last names - Eva and Willemijn - they have collaborated closely, driven by a shared passion for creativity and a lighthearted approach to advertising.
In 2024, Eva and Willemijn showcased their talents at the RAW x Bol train pitch held at the DEPT® Penthouse in Cannes, leaving a lasting impression on the team.
Ramin Bahari, creative director at DEPT® and a jury member at the event, remarked, “Their ability to infuse humour and creativity into their work is remarkable, and it aligns perfectly with our approach to Bol's campaigns.” Now, they join his team, further strengthening DEPT®'s creative capabilities in the region.
The duo's creative process is deeply rooted in their strong partnership. With an intuitive understanding of each other, they draw inspiration from everyday moments, whether it's a humorous anecdote from a friend or a spontaneous idea at the supermarket. At DEPT®, Eva and Willemijn will continue to prioritise laughter as a key element in impactful advertising.

Eva and Willemijn were also recently recognised in FONK Very Inspiring People 2024 list. The creative team in the Netherlands is led by award-winning executive creative director Rod Henriques, who joined DEPT® in 2024.
