dentsu X U.S. today announced the appointment of Pranav Pandit as chief media officer.
In this role, Pranav will be responsible for elevating the dentsu X story and continuing to evolve the agency’s product offering to ensure that defying convention is at the core of the work being done across the agency, ultimately keeping dentsu X at the forefront of what’s next in media. He will oversee the strategy, content and innovation disciplines and play a large role in defining agency positioning.
Pranav will report to Leah Meranus who was elevated to chief executive officer of dentsu X for North America at the beginning of the year. In her new role, Leah has reimagined the dentsu X US leadership team to include the agency’s first chief client officer, Scott Daly, who was promoted earlier this year to oversee client businesses and relationships while driving consistency, alongside this redefined chief media officer role.
Pranav has already shown his enthusiasm for joining dentsu X, by uniquely introducing himself to the agency via a letter written using a combination of human intelligence and ChatGPT, while demonstrating his passion for and commitment to strengthening creative and media collaboration.

Pranav brings over 20 years of strategic leadership and effectiveness experience, most recently serving as an executive director at OMD. Over the course of his career, he has transformed brands such as Gatorade, State Farm, REI, Clorox, Morton Salt, and the US Marine Corps via creatively-driven media techniques and groundbreaking digital disruption.

Pranav joins dentsu X US at an exciting time, as the agency was named the fastest growing media agency in the US and globally for the fourth year in a row in 2022, according to RECMA. Most recently, the agency announced the global win of McCormick just last month.
