Independent creative digital agency, AnalogFolk, has announced its appointment of Dennys Hess as Associate Creative Director in Hong Kong, its Asia hub. Previously founder and Creative Director of Neonite Interactive, Hess will support Asia’s Executive Creative Director and Partner, Harry Llufrio, in AnalogFolk’s mission to ‘use digital to make the analog world better’.
The appointment comes following AnalogFolk’s continued success in winning regional client business, which includes their recent Steelcase appointment. AnalogFolk Asia’s other major clients include Pernod Ricard Asia and Swire. The Hong Kong office is also believed to be engaged with HSBC as part of the network’s global team.
Harry Llufrio, co-founder of AnalogFolk Asia, said, “Dennys is known in the design community for his superior level of craftmanship and innovative thinking when it comes to challenging the norm of design within different industries. As an influential figure he brings an entrepreneurial spirit and a thriving passion in his creative ability, which is complimentary to AnalogFolk’s vision and culture. We are very pleased Dennys has joined us on our journey and we are excited about what we will create together, both in the present and the future for AnalogFolk in Asia and for our clients.”
Dennys Hess said, "AnalogFolk are relatively new to this region, but they’ve quickly built a very talented team here in Asia that approaches problems with a unique mindset and a lot of energy. They have a seductive start-up mentality in every office within their network, and a unique, independent voice within our industry. As a creative with ambitions to design transformative consumer experiences for client brands, I find that very appealing. Judging from the brands they’ve attracted in such a short time in Hong Kong, it’s clear clients feel the same.”
