DHL Express Italy, world leading brand in the logistics sector, chooses DDB Group Italy as its strategic communication partner for the next three years.
The agency will be in charge of redefining the brand's image and developing communication activities on social channels, with the aim of strengthening its leadership in both the business (SME) and consumer areas, by telling the story of the many services offered and the various initiatives carried out by DHL, with a particular focus on sustainability and the many partnerships and sponsorships promoted by the company.
"DHL Express Italy wants to continue to work alongside Italian companies, as a reliable partner, supporting the development of Made in Italy towards internationalisation, a fundamental value for the entire “system-country”. Our commitment, at the basis of our strategy, is to "connect people by improving their lives''. We chose DDB because it was able to grasp our distinctiveness and will certainly be able to enhance it through an approach focused on the real experience of the brand for our customers and employees" said Antonella Sada, head of public affair, brand and communication & sustainability at DHL Express Italy.
"DHL is an iconic brand and we are proud to have been chosen as its social media partner," confirmed Sonia Magri, CEO DDB Group Italy, who continued, "In a highly competitive sector, where the quality of service makes the difference, it is essential to engage the target, enhance the offer and operate from a performance and result-oriented perspective. These are all aspects that characterised the team's consultancy work in the various pitch phases."
The collaboration, started in April, already highlights a human approach in the creation of contents for FB, IG and LinkedIn channels, with the aim of putting people and their needs at the centre. The dedicated DDB work team is integrated and multidisciplinary, and also involves specialists from Hearts & Science - media agency of the OMG group - to support the strategy and advertising planning phases.
