DB Export Releases The “Paperless Newspaper Ad”
No stranger to sustainability, DB Export has just released a series of newspaper ads printed on radio via Colenso BBDO and Franklin Rd.
The long-running "Drink DB Export, Save the Entire World" platform was built on giving the simple act of having a beer a higher purpose. This latest iteration consists of three 'full-page radio' executions, each describing a traditional newspaper ad scene in tongue-in-cheek detail.

Says Samuel Forrest, marketing manager, DB Breweries: "We sought to give drinkers further licence to enjoy a DB Export. And what better purpose than if the beer you drink fuels advertising that saves the world."
Says Max McKeon, creative director at Colenso BBDO: "Did you know, you can't have a beer without a planet? It's true. That's why we chose to print our latest newspaper campaign on radio, and save the lives of numerous innocent trees in the process."
