Dave Edwards, the longtime growth leader at R/GA and other agencies, is joining fast-growing marketing and innovation company BeenThereDoneThat (BTDT) in the newly created role of global head of growth.
BTDT, launched in London in 2014, has expanded into the US, recently opening a second office in New York led by company co-founder and CEO Ed Rogers, and North American director Lee Roth. The company harnesses a global community of over 200 of the world’s best marketing experts, across 25 countries, to provide leading global marketers with fast-turnaround go-to-market strategic and creative thinking.
“Dave has been at the centre of R/GA’s impressive growth and understands how important it is to keep evolving to meet the changing needs of the marketplace,” explained Ed Rogers. “He has great experience in working with big brands and in developing modern solutions. Edwards’ 14-year tenure at R/GA, the last 10 in new business, was marked by significant growth through developing new client partnerships and expanding existing relationships. He also has experience working on Fortune 500 brands at such agencies as Ogilvy and MRM McCann. He is famously known in advertising and marketing circles for his Instagram weather reports via his @WeatherEdwards handle.
